Rev'd Dr Andrew Reid
Preaching Pastor
Andrew was born in Vanuatu and spent his childhood in Papua New Guinea.
Upon returning to Melbourne, he felt somewhat lost. Following a car accident, he was confronted with his own sinfulness and need for Christ. This caused him to ask Christ to help him grow in faith, which led him to return to church and service to Christ.
During this time Andrew entered Bible college and also met Heather and they married.
Both have often thanked God in Christ for his enormous grace and goodness in ministry, enabling them to share the gospel, help them grow in the faith and teaching others about God’s enormous grace in and through Christ.
After settling into Anglican ministry, Andrew became interested in student ministry, becoming the National Director of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students. Both ministries were fun, challenging, fruitful and strategic.
Subsequently, Andrew moved into parish ministry in Perth and from there to theological education in Melbourne before agreeing to move to Singapore to develop a new evangelical Bible College there.
Since returning from Singapore, Andrew and Heather sought to work together with like-minded gospel people and have loved sharing in the ministry being exercised at All Saints Mitcham!

Heather Reid
Associate Pastor
Heather is married to Andrew. They have two sons, Joel and Daniel, who since marrying have produced seven beautiful grandchildren. Since all offspring have left home, Heather and Andrew now live with Ishah and Riggs, two energetic kelpies.
Heather began her work life as a physiotherapist, and later as an HR department manager, before changing her working role into full-time in ministry. In her ministry life, she worked as an AFES staff worker for many years, before moving to Singapore and lecturing in Hebrew and Old Testament Exegesis at the Evangelical Theological College of Asia.
On returning to Australia, Heather shifted focus again and took a church ministry role. She has been working at All Saints Mitcham since the end of 2024.
Heather enjoys chilling with her family, walking with Andrew and her dogs, reading, and outdoors activities.

Peter Lin
Kids and Youth Coordinator
Peter was born in Taiwan but has lived the greater part of his life in Australia. He can converse in Mandarin but prefers English, especially to teach people the Word of God. On weekdays Peter works as a childcare worker, currently in ISS (Inclusion Support Subsidy). He has volunteered in Sunday schools and Youth groups for more than 20 years.
At All Saints’ Mitcham he is the Kids Coordinator; Peter looks after the Kid’s Church, teaching and organising leaders and helpers to teach the Word of God to the children.
In this ministry, seeing children grow and show their understanding of the Word gives him great encouragement to continue to teach and model to the generations to come. As he believes you can teach/learn through games, in his spare time he plays a broad range of games, both digital and physical. -

Johnson Wang
Student Minister
Johnson is finishing off his theological studies at Ridley College. He works part time as a Christian counsellor, and is developing in parish ministry. He enjoys the Psalms, jamming with friends (voice, violin), and walking with people in the Lord. He is excited about what God's doing in the world through His Son, and the opportunities to grow community and outreach in Mitcham!
